High school baseball marked a pivotal period of transformation in my life. Those years were characterized by a shift from being a talented youth player to a committed student-athlete. Earning a spot on the varsity team was a challenging but gratifying achievement, as it meant competing against some of the best in the region. The game became more than just a pastime; it was a daily commitment that demanded hours of practice and dedication. High school baseball taught me the value of resilience, as I faced both personal and team challenges, learning to bounce back from setbacks and harness the mental toughness necessary for success. Moreover, during this time, I grew as a leader, assuming the role of team captain and understanding the importance of motivating and uniting my teammates to achieve our collective goals.
